Sunflower R 38

Field Performance: The "R 38" Sunflower Experience

Working with the "R 38" hybrid from Sunflower, you quickly realize it is built for field-ready efficiency. For an operator, the true value lies in how predictable the crop behaves throughout the entire season. It is a straightforward, reliable tool for large-scale production.

Weed Control and Operational Ease

The most significant advantage in the field is its compatibility with "Euro-Lightning" herbicide technology. In modern farming, the ability to address weed pressure in a single pass is a game-changer. You don't have to worry about complex tank mixes or multiple field entries; the system just works.

Crop Health and Oil Yield

Disease pressure, especially downy mildew (peronosporosis), can ruin a yield before you even reach the combine. The plants stay healthy and upright, which is essential for smooth harvesting.

Regarding the harvest itself: the oil content of 45-50% is not just a brochure number—it holds up at the scales.

The Bottom Line

Choosing "R 38" by Sunflower is an exercise in practical planning. It minimizes the variables, provides strong herbicide tolerance, and delivers consistent oil output.
