Sugar beet Divo

Stable yields in challenging phytosanitary conditions

The 'Divo' sugar beet hybrid from Strube is a top choice for farmers operating in regions prone to high fungal disease pressure. Given the current climate volatility, high resistance to Cercospora, Ramularia, and powdery mildew is essential for maintaining potential yield and ensuring a successful harvest.

Economic performance and raw material quality

This hybrid is engineered for operations aiming for consistent high-quality output. With a sugar content of 18–19%, 'Divo' provides strong profitability even in moderate yield seasons. The large root size allows for efficient harvest logistics while maintaining excellent qualitative standards required by processing plants.

• Reduced input costs: High genetic resistance reduces the frequency of fungicide applications, optimizing the budget per hectare.
• Harvesting efficiency: The uniform shape and structure of the roots ensure clean performance for harvesters, reducing losses in the field.
• Storage capacity: Dense root structure minimizes spoilage, making it a reliable choice for long-term storage in clamps before delivery to the factory.

We recommend 'Divo' for intensive farming systems where the combination of stress tolerance and high sugar concentration is a priority. It is particularly effective for fields with a history of disease pressure where relying solely on chemical protection is insufficient.
