Sugar beet BTS 1605

Beet sugar variety BTS 1605 is a modern hybrid developed for high yield and quality juice. The plant is of medium height with green leaf blades and a broad-conical root, fully embedded in the soil. This variety demonstrates good adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions, enabling successful cultivation in the Central Chernozem and North Caucasus regions.

BTS 1605 exhibits high resistance to major diseases such as cercosporosis and fusarium rots, as well as moderate resistance to root rots. However, the variety is susceptible to root-eating pests, requiring additional attention during cultivation. The seeds provide an optimal balance of yield and sugar content, confirmed by average yields of 519 centners per hectare in the Central Chernozem region and 572 centners per hectare in the North Caucasus region, with sugar content of 17.8% and 17.1% respectively.

High sugar content and disease resistance make BTS 1605 a popular choice among agricultural producers. The variety is suitable for planting on various plots and ensures stable results under different climatic conditions, contributing to efficient and profitable sugar beet production.
