BTS 1605 exhibits high resistance to major diseases such as cercosporosis and fusarium rots, as well as moderate resistance to root rots. However, the variety is susceptible to root-eating pests, requiring additional attention during cultivation. The seeds provide an optimal balance of yield and sugar content, confirmed by average yields of 519 centners per hectare in the Central Chernozem region and 572 centners per hectare in the North Caucasus region, with sugar content of 17.8% and 17.1% respectively.
