KATYUSHA is an early-maturing variety of table beet developed by LLC "Agrofirma AELITA." The period from germination to harvest is 90-100 days, allowing for a fresh harvest in a short time. The roots of this variety are round, uniform, and smooth, with a weight from 100 to 250 grams. The beet flesh is carmine-red, tender and juicy, with increased sugar content, ensuring excellent taste qualities.
The KATYUSHA variety is recommended for culinary processing, canning, and winter storage due to its high retention and product quality. It is characterized by a high yield of marketable product—from 90 to 96%—as well as a consistently high yield, reaching 5.5-7 kg per square meter. For sowing, seeds are planted in open ground at a depth of 2 cm, and thinning is carried out in two stages: the first when the first two pairs of true leaves develop, and the second when the roots reach a diameter of 2-3 cm.
For successful cultivation of the KATYUSHA variety, timely watering, weeding, loosening, and feeding are required, which contributes to the formation of a quality and abundant harvest. Thanks to its characteristics and versatility of application, this variety is an excellent choice for gardeners and farmers seeking to obtain tasty and healthy beets with high yields.
