Spinach Papay requires sufficient moisture and fertile soil for optimal growth. It is cold-hardy, so sowing is recommended in the open ground at the earliest dates — at the end of April or beginning of May at a depth of 1.5-2 cm. Harvesting is conducted selectively and multiple times before the onset of flowering. Under conditions of high summer temperatures, the plant is prone to bolting, so reseeding is better to carry out in early August.
This spinach variety is valued for its high content of proteins, vitamins, mineral salts and organic acids, which makes it a useful dietary product.
