NIKITOS

Nikitos is a mid-early, high-yield spinach variety, characterized by a period from germination to technical maturity of 37–43 days. The plant rosette, with a diameter of 25–30 cm, has a semi-erect leaf arrangement; the leaves feature an inverted egg shape, a green glossy hue, and weak blistering. The leaves are large, smooth, and slightly directed upwards, giving the rosette a compact and gathered appearance. The mass of one bush is about 42 grams.

This variety is distinguished by high cold-hardiness and resistance to bolting, which allows for cultivation in various climatic conditions and obtaining a stable yield. Thanks to these qualities, Nikitos is suitable for sowing from spring to late summer, with seeds recommended to be planted at a depth of 2–3 cm with an interval of 20 × 10 cm. Harvesting is possible from June to October, ensuring a long period of plant use.

Spinach Nikitos is valued for its dietary properties: it is rich in protein, dietary fiber, organic acids, and sugar. The leaves of this variety are ideal for fresh consumption as well as freezing, allowing the preservation of the product's beneficial qualities for a long time.
