Nikitos is a mid-early, high-yield spinach variety, characterized by a period from germination to technical maturity of 37–43 days. The plant rosette, with a diameter of 25–30 cm, has a semi-erect leaf arrangement; the leaves feature an inverted egg shape, a green glossy hue, and weak blistering. The leaves are large, smooth, and slightly directed upwards, giving the rosette a compact and gathered appearance. The mass of one bush is about 42 grams.
This variety is distinguished by high cold-hardiness and resistance to bolting, which allows for cultivation in various climatic conditions and obtaining a stable yield. Thanks to these qualities, Nikitos is suitable for sowing from spring to late summer, with seeds recommended to be planted at a depth of 2–3 cm with an interval of 20 × 10 cm. Harvesting is possible from June to October, ensuring a long period of plant use.
