Fantasy — a fast-maturing spinach variety of Ukrainian selection, distinguished by its high vitamin content and abundant yield. This variety is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under cover, making it versatile for various climatic conditions. The maturation period is approximately 21 days, allowing for a quick harvest. The plant rosette is semi-upright, dark green, with a diameter of about 35 cm and a height of 22 cm, composed of approximately 15 large leaves, each about 18 cm long and 11 cm wide. The leaf blade has moderate green color intensity, slight blistering, and a broadly elliptical shape with inwardly curved margins and a blunt tip. The variety is characterized by high yield — up to 22 tons of greens per hectare, with each plant weighing approximately 150–160 grams. Fantasy exhibits good cold tolerance, capable of germinating at +4°C, with optimal growth and development temperatures ranging from +16–20°C. The plant is resistant to bolting and has an extended period of agronomic usability, allowing it to retain leaf quality for a longer time after harvest. For successful cultivation, use well-fertilized, timely-treated, and adequately moist soils. Sowing can be conducted early in spring, summer, or in late autumn to early winter, at a depth of 2–3 cm, with a seeding rate of 2–3 g per square meter. Spinach Fantasy is versatile in use: its leaves can be consumed fresh in salads or used to prepare soups and braised dishes. Due to its characteristics and taste qualities, this variety is an excellent choice for those who value early and high-quality green harvests.
