MAS 810B

MAS 810B is an early-maturing sunflower, distinguished by high resistance to major diseases such as phomopsis, rust, sclerotinia, and false powdery mildew. It exhibits tolerance to A-E strains of downy mildew, ensuring reliable protection against parasitic plants. The plant has a medium-high stature, slightly convex and inclined head, which promotes efficient growth and harvest. MAS 810B flowers early, allowing its use in various climatic conditions and regions, including the Polissya, Forest Steppe, and Northern Steppe.

Technical characteristics of MAS 810B include oil content in seeds at 49–51%, making it valuable for linoleic oil production. The 1000-seed mass ranges from 50 to 65 grams, indicating high seed quality. The plant demonstrates high initial growth (8 out of 10 points), lodging resistance (9 points), and drought tolerance (8 points), ensuring stable and high yields even under adverse weather conditions.

MAS 810B is recommended for cultivation on various soil types and in different agroclimatic zones. The optimal seeding density at harvest is 50–55 thousand plants per hectare in areas with insufficient moisture and 60–65 thousand plants per hectare in areas with adequate moisture. Due to its agronomic traits and disease resistance, this sunflower ensures stable income and is suitable for intensive farming.
