Soybean Vityaz 50

Reliable Yields for Modern Farming

The Vityaz 50 soybean variety, developed by IZPR UAAN, is a choice for farmers prioritizing operational efficiency and consistent performance. With a growing season of 115–120 days, this variety fits perfectly into typical crop rotations in Ukraine, allowing for timely harvesting before the onset of late-autumn rains.

Optimized for Mechanical Harvesting

One of the most significant challenges in soybean production is harvest loss at the bottom tier. Vityaz 50 addresses this directly: the lower pods are attached at a height of 12–15 cm. This morphological trait allows combine headers to operate at low angles, minimizing grain loss even on uneven terrain. Reaching a total height of 90–110 cm, the plants show excellent resistance to lodging, which is critical for maintaining high yields on fertile soil.

Disease Resistance and Grain Quality

The IZPR breeding program has equipped Vityaz 50 with strong genetic resistance to major fungal diseases, including downy mildew (peronosporosis), fusarium, and ascochyta blight. This reduces the need for intensive fungicide applications, significantly cutting production costs. The grain quality parameters are consistently stable:

• Protein content: 38–42% — a solid benchmark for commercial production.
• Oil content: 20–22% — an optimal balance for processing facilities.

Field experience confirms that Vityaz 50 achieves its full potential in fertile soil conditions. The variety exhibits minimal pod shattering and maintains grain integrity during short-term heat stress, making it a reliable asset for growers seeking high-quality output and predictable market value.
