VILANA BETA

Vilana Beta soybean is a mid-early and mid-season variety with high resistance to unfavorable growing conditions. Thanks to recombinant selection with an increased proportion of chlorophyll β, this variety is distinguished by enhanced endurance to prolonged flooding, root hypoxia, and shading, which allows for effective use of lower shaded plant layers for photosynthesis. Plant height reaches 110-120 cm, which contributes to good development and yield even under excessive density and strong weed infestation.

Vilana Beta is recommended for cultivation in the North Caucasus and Lower Volga regions, where it demonstrates stable yield. Average seed yield is 21.9 c/ha in the North Caucasus region and 8.6 c/ha in the Lower Volga region, while potential yield can reach 57 c/ha. Protein content in seeds varies from 37.7% to 42%, and oil content is about 22%, making this variety valuable for producing both food and oilseed raw materials.

A feature of the variety is its suitability for cultivation using non-herbicide (organic) technology, which allows obtaining ecologically clean products. High resistance to crowding and weeding, as well as the ability to withstand flooding for up to a month, make Vilana Beta a reliable choice for farmers aiming for sustainable and efficient soybean production under complex agro-climatic conditions.
