Soybean CORDOBA

Stability and Quality: Why Professionals Choose "Cordoba"

The "Cordoba" soybean variety by Agreliant Genetics is the result of extensive breeding work by Saatbau and Saatzucht Donau, aimed at maximizing commercial grain yield with superior quality indicators. In modern agriculture, where the competition for every percent of protein is decisive, this hybrid demonstrates excellent adaptability.

Biological Potential and Parameters

A vegetation period of 100–110 days makes this variety a versatile tool for most cultivation zones, allowing for reliable harvest planning without the risk of late autumn frosts. The plants reach a height of 90–100 cm, ensuring comfortable harvesting with a combine and minimizing losses at the lower tier.

• Grain Biochemistry: High protein concentration (41–45%) combined with oil content ranging from 20% to 23% makes this variety a high-liquidity asset for processing plants.
• Phytosanitary Protection: Genetic resistance to downy mildew (peronosporosis) and bacteriosis is not just a marketing claim, but real savings on fungicide treatments, especially in seasons with high humidity levels.

Who is this variety for?

"Cordoba" is optimal for farms focused on export or the production of high-quality meal. The hybrid's strength lies in the combination of endurance against common diseases and a consistently high protein content. As with many intensive varieties, its sensitivity to the agro-background can be a challenge: to achieve the 45% protein potential, the soil must be supplied with the necessary level of nitrogen and micronutrients. Unlike less selective alternatives, this variety requires strict adherence to technology, but in return, it guarantees predictable results on the scales.
