Cordoba soybean variety is characterized by intensive development in early vegetative stages, which helps effectively combat weeds and ensures rapid plant growth. The vegetative period ranges from 105 to 115 days, allowing the variety to successfully adapt to various climatic conditions. Plants reach a height of up to 100 cm and exhibit excellent branching ability, promoting high yields even at sparse plantings. Recommended sowing depth is 3–4 cm, and optimal plant density at harvest time is 500–600 thousand plants per hectare. Row spacing varies from 12.5 to 45 cm depending on growing conditions. The variety features large seeds with a 1000-seed weight of up to 190 grams and a light hilum, indicating high quality. Seed crude protein content reaches 42.6–44%, and oil content is 20.5–23%, making it attractive for both protein and oil production. CORDOBA shows high resistance to viral diseases, bacterial blight, and downy mildew, as well as good resistance to lodging and seed shattering. These traits ensure stable yields and minimize losses during harvest. To achieve maximum productivity, seed inoculation with active Rhizobium biological cultures is recommended, along with herbicide protection depending on phytosanitary conditions. Optimal sowing dates are from late April to early May when soil temperature is not below 10°C. Sowing rates vary depending on regional moisture levels: from 50 seeds per m² in dry zones to 70 seeds per m² in more humid areas. Practical testing demonstrated high plasticity and stability of the variety, making CORDOBA a reliable choice for various agronomic conditions and contributing to yields up to 55 centners per hectare.
