KREOLA

Soybean variety Kreola is a high-yielding and versatile variety registered in the state register in 2022. It belongs to the mid-late maturity group with a vegetation period ranging from 90 to 125 days, depending on growing conditions. Plants are medium-height, ranging from 62 to 110 cm, with evenly spaced pods, the first of which is located at a height of 9 to 17 cm above the soil. The variety is characterized by rapid initial growth and moderate branching, which contributes to forming a stable and high yield.

Kreola is distinguished by high resistance to various diseases and adverse factors: resistance to wilting and seed shattering is rated at 8-9 points, drought resistance is also high (8-9 points). The variety shows good resistance to powdery mildew, ascochitosis, septoria, fusarium, and bacterial diseases with resistance ratings from 7 to 9 points. Due to these qualities, Kreola adapts well to various climatic zones, including forest-steppe, steppe, and Polissia zones.

Yield of the variety varies from 2.5 to 5 tons per hectare, with protein content in seeds ranging from 36 to 44%, and oil content from 19 to 23.4%. The high protein content and large seeds with high natural quality make this variety especially attractive for use in food industry. Early maturity allows Kreola to be used as a predecessor for winter crops, expanding its agronomic applications.
