Sunflower ODISEY

Stable Yields in Challenging Climates

The «Odisey» sunflower hybrid, produced by the Ukrainian company "Naukovo-vyrobnycha", represents a balanced solution for farmers focused on reliability and predictable yields. This simple hybrid has been specifically bred to thrive in local soil and climatic conditions, establishing itself as a consistent performer for mid-scale and large-scale agricultural enterprises.

Key Agronomic Features

The primary advantage of "Odisey" is its built-in resistance to imidazolinone herbicides, making it fully compatible with the "EURO-LIGHTNING" cultivation system. This technology allows producers to effectively manage weeds and parasitic broomrape, ensuring a cleaner field and reduced competitive pressure on the crop. With a vegetation period of 110–120 days, it is classified as a medium-early hybrid, providing a flexible harvesting window.

• Oil Content: Consistent levels ranging from 45% to 50%, a metric highly valued by oil processing facilities.
• Disease Resistance: The plant shows strong genetic resilience against some of the most destructive pathogens, including Downy Mildew (Peronospora), Phomopsis, and Phoma.

Designed for intensive farming, "Odisey" demonstrates excellent stalk strength, reducing the risk of lodging during strong winds or heavy rain. Its ability to maintain high oil output under pressure makes it a staple choice for producers looking for a reliable, herbicide-tolerant hybrid that performs consistently season after season.
