SELEKTA 301

Soybean variety «Selekta 301» is a mid-season, high-yielding variety developed by Russian breeders of the company «SOKO». The plant has a semi-determinate growth type, is tall with a height of about 78 cm. Leaves have an acutely ovate shape of medium-sized leaflets, and flowers are purple in color. Pods are light brown, seeds are large, oval-oblong in shape with a yellow seed coat. The mass of 1000 seeds varies from 132 to 230 g. The variety is characterized by high resistance to lodging and shattering, and is weakly affected by bacterial blight under field conditions. The variety demonstrates high yield, which in various regions ranges from 20.2 to 40.3 c/ha, making it promising for cultivation in different climatic conditions. It has high resistance to cracking, fusarium, gray mold, and downy mildew. Due to its resistance to soil and air drought, «Selekta 301» maintains productivity in dry years, while in wetter periods it responds well to optimized moisture. The recommended sowing rate is 400-650 thousand seeds per hectare, depending on the sowing method. Protein content in seeds of the variety reaches 35.8-43%, and fat – 20.6-25%, which ensures a high protein output per hectare (about 463 kg). These indicators make «Selekta 301» attractive for use in the food and feed industries. The variety is suitable for cultivation in various regions, including the North Caucasus and Krasnodar Krai, due to its adaptability and stable productivity.
