Soybean SC AVRORA

Fast-maturing Soybean for Efficient Farming

The «SK Aurora» variety, developed by the Soy Complex Company, is designed for producers looking to optimize their crop cycle. With a growing season of up to 90 days, this soybean variety is perfect for regions with short summers or for farmers who need to clear fields early for winter crops. Its early maturity significantly reduces the risk of late-season weather damage.

Grain Quality and Nutritive Value

In terms of practical application, «SK Aurora» offers flexibility in seed composition, adapting to various soil conditions. Key quality indicators include:

• Oil content: 19–23%.
• Protein content: 35–43%.

These ranges ensure that the crop is suitable for both livestock feed and high-value industrial processing. The consistency of these indicators makes the variety a reliable choice for commercial farms focusing on high-protein yield per hectare.

Resilience and Disease Resistance

A major challenge in soybean cultivation is the prevalence of root and stem rots. «SK Aurora» shows distinct resistance to charcoal rot (ashy stem blight). This genetic trait is highly valued by agronomists as it reduces the need for intensive fungicide applications, thereby cutting production costs and ensuring a cleaner, healthier crop stand.

Strategic Field Use

«SK Aurora» fits perfectly into high-intensity crop rotation systems. Because it matures quickly, it avoids the peak heat of late summer, allowing the plants to fill their pods efficiently. Farmers choose this variety to streamline their harvesting operations, ensuring the machinery can complete the work in August or early September without the stress of adverse autumn weather. It is an excellent tool for balancing workloads and maximizing field output throughout the calendar year.
