Description Angelica
The Angelica soybean variety belongs to the medium-late maturity group 00 and is characterized by stable and high yields. Plants have an indeterminate growth type with high branching and a height of 73 to 90 cm. The thousand-grain weight varies within 175–210 g, and the yellow seed hilum is a distinctive feature of the variety. Row spacing for planting ranges from 25 to 70 cm, allowing for optimized growing conditions and increased productivity.

Angelica exhibits improved leaf and stem health, as well as high resistance to drought and various diseases, including powdery mildew, ascochitosis, bacterial blight, septoria, and fusarium. The level of resistance to lodging and shattering is also high, which contributes to maintaining yield and reducing losses during harvest. The growing period of the variety ranges from 113 to 129 days, making it suitable for cultivation in the Polissia and forest-steppe regions.

Soybean Angelica has high protein content — 37–52.6% — and oil content ranging from 20–23.4%. These characteristics make the variety attractive for use in food and feed industries. High seed mass and improved agronomic traits ensure good adaptation to stressful conditions and contribute to obtaining a high-quality and stable yield.
