Soybean SELECTA 201

SELECTA 201 Soybean — an early-maturing variety developed for high yield and stable growth under various climatic conditions, especially in southern regions of Russia. The plant is indeterminate, resistant to lodging and shattering, which helps preserve the harvest. The variety shows good adaptation to soil and air drought, as well as high responsiveness to moisture optimization, allowing for stable yields in both dry and wet years. Recommended for planting in replantings with a permissible planting date up to June 30.

The mass of 1000 seeds ranges from 140.3 to 171.3 grams, indicating the large-fruited nature of the variety. Yield in the North Caucasus region averages 18.1 centners/hectare, with maximum figures reaching up to 36.1 centners/hectare, and up to 2.6 tons/hectare in southern regions under optimal conditions. Protein content in seeds varies from 33.5% to 41.1%, and fat content from 22.4% to 25.9%, making this variety attractive for producing protein and oil products.

The variety has high resistance to a range of diseases, including cracking, fusarium, powdery rot, and downy mildew (medium resistance to the latter). For planting, the recommended seeding rate is 450,000-550,000 seeds per hectare with wide-row spacing and 600,000-700,000 with narrow-row spacing. Thanks to its characteristics and adaptability, SELECTA 201 is a reliable choice for agricultural producers aiming for stable and high soybean yields.
