PERSE is an early-maturing soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) variety characterized by an indeterminate growth type and medium plant height. The hypocotyl of the variety has anthocyanin pigmentation, and the pubescence of the main stem is gray. The leaves are compound with acuminate-ovate leaflets, and the flowers are violet. The seeds are yellow with a yellow hilum. The mass of 1000 seeds is approximately 168–172 g, depending on the growing region. The vegetative period varies from 112 to 121 days, which allows for harvest in relatively short periods. The PERSE variety demonstrates high yield in various regions. In the North Caucasus region, the average yield reaches 20.7 c/ha, with maximum figures up to 35.0 c/ha recorded at the Izobilnyenskaya GSS of the Stavropol Krai. In the Far East region, the yield is about 9.1 c/ha. The seeds of the variety are distinguished by high protein content - about 37.7–37.8 %, and fat - 22.3–22.9 %, which makes this variety attractive for producing high-nutritional-value products. To increase the efficiency of soybean cultivation of the PERSE variety, the use of inoculants such as AgriBacter® and RizoFix® is recommended. These preparations contain living bacteria that facilitate atmospheric nitrogen fixation in the plant, which allows reducing or completely eliminating the use of nitrogen fertilizers. Such an approach is environmentally safe and economically profitable, contributes to increased yield and improved seed quality, making soybean cultivation technology more sustainable and productive.
