Perlina

Soybean variety Perлина is a high-protein grain variety recommended for cultivation in the forest-steppe and Polissia regions of Ukraine. This early-maturing variety is characterized by high drought resistance and resistance to major diseases and stress factors, ensuring stable yields under various climatic conditions. The vegetation period is 96-98 days, plant height ranges from 80 to 100 cm, with the lower pod attachment height around 16 cm, facilitating harvesting and reducing losses.

Perлина soybean has a medium protein content in the seeds at 37-40.8% and oil content of about 20-21%, making it a valuable raw material for producing high-protein and oil-containing products. Seeds are oval-round in shape, yellow with a light-brown hilum, with a 1000-seed mass of 140-180 g. The yield potential of this variety reaches 3.5-5 t/ha at the recommended planting density of 600-650 thousand plants per hectare.

The Perлина soybean variety was developed and registered in the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine in 2016 by the Institute of Plant Breeding named after V.Ya. Yuryev of NAAN. Thanks to its agronomic characteristics and adaptability, this variety is widely used in agriculture to obtain high-quality soybean crops for the food industry and feed production. High resistance to lodging and seed shattering reduces losses during harvest and increases the economic efficiency of cultivation.
