The soybean variety «Vasilisa» is the result of joint work by scientists of Voronezh State Agrarian University and the Institute of Genetics and Cytology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. This variety is characterized by a very early maturity period and a growing season of about 105 days, which allows for its effective use in the Central-Black Earth region. Plants of medium height with an indeterminate growth type have purple flowers and yellow seeds with a yellow hilum. The mass of 1000 seeds is about 128 grams, indicating a high grain mass.
«Vasilisa» is characterized by a high protein content in seeds — about 34%, as well as a significant fat level — 21.2%. The variety demonstrates increased resistance to diseases and pests, which contributes to stable and high yields. The average yield in the region reaches 23.8 centners per hectare, while on individual plots the yield can exceed 40 centners per hectare.
High productivity and seed quality make the variety «Vasilisa» promising for widespread use in agriculture. Early maturity and high protein content allow it to be used for both food and feed purposes. Introducing this variety into production contributes to increased profit and improved efficiency of agricultural production.
