Dakota soybean is a high-yielding and mid-early maturing variety with a maturity period of 112 to 120 days. The plant features a strong main stem and good branching ability, which contributes to high protein yield per hectare. High 1000-seed weight, reaching 185–210 grams, and plant height within 80–92 cm ensure significant yield potential, ranging from 5.0 to 5.7 tons per hectare.

One of the key features of the Dakota variety is its high resistance to drought, lodging, and pod shattering, which minimizes harvest losses. Additionally, the plant has high protein content (not less than 43%) and oil content (not less than 22%), making it valuable for both food and feed applications. Due to its strong lower pod attachment and resistance to cracking, Dakota soybeans maintain quality and quantity even under adverse conditions.
