IRBIS is an early-maturing, high-protein soy variety intended for grain cultivation in main crops. It was developed by individual selection from a hybrid population and is characterized by high technological adaptability, resistance to lodging and pod splitting during maturation. The variety demonstrates high yield: the average yield in the Central Black Earth region is about 11.6 c/ha, while the maximum reached 35 c/ha in the Kursk region. Thanks to its resistance to powdery mildew and gray mold, IRBIS maintains plant health and crop quality even under unfavorable conditions. IRBIS soy is characterized by high protein content—up to 46%, which significantly exceeds the indicators of medium-protein varieties. Oil content is about 21%, making this variety attractive for the production of both protein and oilseed raw materials. Plants reach a height of 93 to 115 cm, ensuring good planting density and efficient use of area. The variety has enhanced cold and drought tolerance, expanding its cultivation possibilities in various climatic zones, including the Southern and Volga Federal Districts, as well as the Central Black Earth and North Caucasus regions. IRBIS is suitable for cultivation in both main and repeated crops, allowing flexible planning of agrotechnical measures. Thanks to its resistance to stress conditions and diseases, this variety ensures stable and high yields even under unfavorable weather conditions. Its use contributes to improving the efficiency of soy production and enhancing the quality of the final product, making IRBIS a sought-after choice for soy-producing enterprises.
