SK AGRA is a soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) variety characterized by an early maturity period and a determinate growth type. Plants of medium height with an indeterminate type, have purple flowers and yellow seeds with a dark brown hilum. The hypocotyl is colored with anthocyanin, and the pubescence of the main stem is reddish-brown. The lateral leaflets of the compound leaf are acutely ovate in shape. The mass of 1000 seeds ranges from 143 to 151 grams, indicating the variety's large fruitfulness.
The variety is included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements of the Russian Federation for the Central-Black Earth and North-Caucasus regions. The vegetative period is about 113 days, which allows it to be considered medium-early. SK AGRA is distinguished by high resistance to lodging of plants and cracking of pods during overstay, which contributes to preserving the yield and seed quality.
The yield of the variety varies depending on the region and growing conditions: average yield in the Central-Black Earth region reaches 20.3–22.2 c/ha, maximum – up to 49.4 c/ha, in the North-Caucasus region average yield is about 21.1 c/ha. Protein content in seeds ranges from 35.2% to 42%, and fat – from 18.8% to 22.55%, making this variety attractive for various areas of use, including production of food products and feeds.
