Soybean Inguz

Focus on Stability and Grain Quality

The «Inguz» soybean variety is a product of the Institute of Organic Agriculture, designed for farmers seeking a balance between high yields and superior raw material quality. Within the mid-season segment (115–120 days), it stands out not only for its resilience but also for its specific biochemical profile.

Biochemical Profile and Morphology

The primary advantage of Inguz is its high protein content (40–42%) and oil content (21–23%). This makes it highly attractive to processors operating in the premium segment. From an agronomic perspective, the variety offers well-balanced characteristics:

• Plant height ranges from 90–110 cm, providing substantial vegetative biomass.
• The lowest pods are set at a height of 12–15 cm, which significantly simplifies combine harvesting and minimizes field losses.

Who should choose this variety?

Inguz is an optimal choice for farms that follow intensive cultivation technologies but require crop plasticity. Developed in Ukraine, this variety is well-adapted to local climatic conditions and temperature fluctuations during the growing season. However, one should note that to fully unlock the potential of 40%+ protein, it is essential to provide adequate nutrition during the grain-filling stage. A potential challenge is the need for precise timing of the harvest; like many high-protein soybeans, excessive field aging can lead to yield losses.

This variety serves as a reliable asset in crop rotation for those aiming to sell their harvest as high-value raw material for the food or feed industry with higher profit margins.
