Soybean Tourizas

Focus on Organic Potential

The 'Turizas' soybean variety is a product of targeted selection by the Institute of Organic Agriculture (Ukraine). This variety is tailored for agricultural producers operating in the organic farming segment, where the purity of the genetic material is as critical as the yield potential. In various Ukrainian soil and climatic zones, Turizas has established itself as a reliable player within the mid-maturing segment.

Biological Traits and Adaptability

With a vegetation period of 115–125 days, the variety efficiently utilizes the seasonal heat to form a high-quality yield. A significant advantage for mechanized harvesting is the attachment height of the lower pods, which ranges from 12–15 cm, effectively minimizing losses during the combine harvest process. The plant height of 90–110 cm ensures good lodging resistance under standard sowing density.

Grain Quality Profile

Turizas is highly regarded by processors for its balanced grain composition. Laboratory tests confirm the following parameters:

• Protein content: 40–42%, an excellent figure for organically grown varieties.
• Oil content: 21–22%, providing high value for export and processing purposes.

As an original variety developed by a specialized scientific institution, Turizas is a preferred choice for farmers aiming for premium production with high protein levels. It is a solid investment for operations where crop development predictability and harvesting efficiency are the primary goals.
