Soybean Zevs

Technical Profile of the "Zeus" Variety

The "Zeus" soybean variety from "NSNF Soyevyi Vik" is a breeding solution designed for intensive farming, focusing on consistent yields within the mid-early maturity segment. The synergy between its agronomic architecture and high chemical quality makes it a versatile choice for both local processing and international export markets.

Morphological Adaptability

The primary advantage of "Zeus" is its structural robustness. Reaching a plant height of 90–100 cm, it exhibits high lodging resistance, which is vital for efficient mechanical harvesting. A key technical feature is the lower pod attachment height of 12–15 cm. This ensures that growers can operate headers at a low cutting height without significant risk of soil contamination or harvest losses, maximizing yield efficiency.

Seed Composition and Growth Cycle

In a market where grain value is strictly tied to quality parameters, "Zeus" delivers the following performance indicators:

• Protein content: 41–42 %, meeting the high demands of the soy meal processing industry.
• Oil content: 21–22 %, providing a steady value proposition in the oilseeds sector.

With a vegetation period of 105–110 days, "Zeus" is classified as a mid-early variety. This provides agronomic flexibility, allowing for an optimal sowing and harvesting window that fits seamlessly into crop rotation cycles. This maturity timing is particularly strategic, as it enables the plant to complete grain filling before peak summer heat, protecting the final yield potential.
