Sunflower Margosha

Sunflower hybrid of the MARGOSHA variety is a two-line hybrid developed specifically for agricultural cultivation in the Lower Volga region, including the Volgograd region. This mid-season hybrid is characterized by green leaf color and yellow ray florets, indicating its typical botanical features. Plants reach high maturity height without branching, which simplifies care and harvest.

The variety's feature is the absence or very weak blistering of leaves, which positively affects plant resistance and appearance. MARGOSHA sunflower seeds have weak marginal stripes, and the 1000-seed weight is approximately 54.2 grams. The vegetative period of the hybrid lasts about 122 days, allowing effective planning of agronomic activities.

The yield of the MARGOSHA variety in the Lower Volga region averages 22.9 centners per hectare, with maximum yields reaching 40.5 centners per hectare, confirming the hybrid's high productivity. The average oil content in the seeds is 44.7%, and oil harvest reaches 12.2 centners per hectare, making this sunflower profitable for oil production. The variety is recommended for cultivation in the region, ensuring stable and high-quality yields.
