OAC Strive

Soybean variety OAC Strive is a high-yielding food variety with high protein content up to 44% and oil content up to 23%. Developed by the University of Guelph in Canada and registered in the national registry in 2017, this variety features an optimal combination of high yield and plasticity, ensuring stable productivity under various conditions. The vegetative period is 110 days, and the sum of effective temperatures (CHU) is 2675, allowing successful cultivation in moderate climate zones.

Plants of the OAC Strive variety reach a height of 80 to 95 cm, with lower pods located 13-17 cm above the soil surface. The variety is characterized by high resistance to lodging, shattering, and drought, significantly reducing yield losses and improving quality. Additionally, OAC Strive exhibits high resistance to major soybean diseases such as downy mildew, ascochitosis, and septoria, making it a reliable choice for farmers aiming to minimize chemical protection usage.

To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to maintain a planting density of 550-700 thousand seeds per hectare, depending on growing conditions. Seed inoculation with nitrogen-fixing bacteria is advised before planting, which enhances nitrogen nutrition of plants and increases yield. Planting is recommended using planters with row spacing from 12.5 to 45 cm, ensuring optimal plant development and ease of agronomic practices.
