Soybean variety Kharkivskaya 35 is a transgenic seed material developed using modern biotechnology and intended for agricultural production of grain. This variety belongs to the mid-early maturing group and is adapted to the Roundup Ready technology, providing resistance to broad-spectrum herbicides. Seeds are characterized by high 1000-seed weight — 157 grams, excellent germination rate of 97% and seed vigor of 97%, ensuring reliable and uniform plant development when sown within the optimal period from March 20 to June 10. Soybean plants of variety Kharkivskaya 35 feature a strong, tall stem reaching 1.3–1.4 meters in height with a diameter up to 20 mm, as well as a deep taproot penetrating soil to 350 cm. Leaves are trifoliate, flowers have purple-black-and-white coloring. Pods are large, up to 8 cm long, containing approximately 6 seeds, with a dense, shiny, water-impermeable coat. The variety is resistant to a broad spectrum of diseases, including fusarium, cercospora, rust, and other fungal and viral infections, as well as abiotic stresses such as sharp temperature fluctuations from -10 to +60 °C and acid rain. Kharkivskaya 35 demonstrates high yield — 50–60 centners per hectare, with potential up to 70 centners. Soybean does not require desiccation, is resistant to lodging and shattering, facilitating harvest. Soybean oil content in the grain reaches 51–53%, making this variety attractive for oil production. Additionally, the variety is self-pollinating and does not require insect pollination, which enhances yield stability under various climatic conditions.
