Description KUMINOV'S GIFT HAWTHORN
Kuminov's Gift is a large-fruited hawthorn of medium ripening period, reaching a height of 3 to 5 meters and growing slowly. The crown has an ovoid shape, is dense and compact, which makes the tree convenient for planting in limited spaces. Branches are of medium thickness, and thorns 4 to 7 cm long (sometimes up to 8) are straight or slightly curved, chestnut-brown and shiny.

The fruits of this variety are large, weighing about 5.3 grams, round-oval with a soft skin of medium density. They have a bright red color with a light sheen and apricot flesh, juicy and sweet-sour in taste. The average fruit weight allows for a yield of 9–14 kg per tree by the tenth year of growth, with a maximum yield of up to 18 kg.

The 'Kuminov's Gift' hawthorn is characterized by high winter hardiness and drought resistance, as well as unpretentiousness in care. Self-pollinating white flowers form umbels with 12–15 inflorescences, which promotes good pollination and increases yield. Thanks to these characteristics, the tree is suitable for growing in open ground as both a decorative plant and a source of useful berries.
