Description JUBILAR
Jubilary is the first spring variety of camelina (Camelina sativa) specifically bred for the conditions of the Middle Volga region by the Penza Agricultural Research Institute and approved for use in 2011. The plant is characterized by an upright, round, and smooth stem reaching a height of 76 to 80 cm, and leaves that are green without lobes. The flowers are small, yellow, with four sepals, pointing upwards.

The fruit is a multi-seeded pear-shaped pod about 10 mm long with slightly depressed valves; it usually contains 12–14 seeds. The seeds are reddish-brown with a shallow groove; the mass of 1000 seeds ranges from 2.0 to 2.4 g – this is significantly higher than average for camelina and ensures rapid seedling growth even under dry spring conditions. The variety's vegetative period is 73–75 days, with an average yield of 1.8–2.0 tons/ha.

Jubilary is distinguished by high adaptation to biotic and abiotic environmental factors: it is drought-resistant and lodging-resistant, and is weakly affected by cruciferous flea beetles. Fat content in seeds varies from 38.9% to 40.1%, and protein is about 31.8%. The oil contains erucic acid within 3.3%. Due to its synchronous ripening and suitability for mechanized harvesting, the variety is suitable for a wide range of agricultural operations.
