Chicory NIKOLSKIY

Operational advantages of the 'Nikolsky' variety

The 'Nikolsky' chicory variety, developed by the Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Production, is engineered specifically for commercial cultivation and food processing. It is the preferred choice for agricultural enterprises aiming to supply consistent raw material to the food manufacturing sector.

Practical application and processing

• Beverage Industry: The variety provides a distinct, slightly bitter flavor profile, which is essential for producing high-quality chicory extracts and coffee substitutes.
• Functional Food Production: Due to its specific composition, 'Nikolsky' is an ideal source of inulin for health-conscious food products and dietary supplements.
• Mechanical Efficiency: The variety is bred for structural uniformity, which ensures optimal performance during mechanized harvesting, reducing crop damage and streamlining the logistics of delivery to processing plants.

By integrating 'Nikolsky' into a crop rotation, producers benefit from a reliable, high-yield source of raw material that meets stringent industrial standards. The genetic purity guaranteed by the originator (FSCVP) ensures uniformity in raw material quality, which is critical for the stability of downstream industrial processes.
