Description YEKATERININSKY
Yekaterininsky is an early-maturing variety of rape (Camelina sativa L.) with a low stature, intended for the production of oilseeds. The plant is characterized by a light green leaf without pubescence and incision of the edges, as well as a weakly expressed rosette. Flowers have a light yellow hue, pods are spherical, and seeds are yellowish-brown.

The variety is distinguished by early maturity and a growing season of 65 days, which allows for planning sowing within the optimal spring term. Average yield is about 18 centners per hectare, while the mass of 1000 seeds is in the average range. The internal fat content reaches 31.5%, while the level of erucic acid in the oil is stably 1.2%. These indicators make the product suitable for the production of oil with a high content of beneficial fatty acids.

Yekaterininsky is resistant to lodging and shedding, and does not show signs of disease damage according to the applicant's data. Thanks to such characteristics, the variety is suitable for both commercial cultivation and research in the field of oilseed biotechnology.
