Rosa Traumerei (Traumerei) — this is a floribunda variety, bred in 1974 and gaining wide popularity, especially in Germany. The name of the variety is associated with Robert Schumann's piano piece 'Träumerei', which emphasizes its elegance and refinement. The bushes of this variety are branched, upright, reaching a height of 60 to 80 cm, with dense dark green glossy foliage, which is characterized by density and disease resistance. The rose is highly frost-resistant and capable of tolerating hot summers well, making it suitable for various climatic conditions, including the Russian climate. The Traumerei flowers are large, 6 to 9 cm in diameter, double, with 17 to 50 petals per flower, depending on the source. The flower color is pure coral-orange or salmon-orange, opening from tight cup-shaped buds into round, saucer-shaped blooms with neatly curled centers. Flowers appear singly or in clusters of 3–8, possessing a strong or medium-intensity, pleasant fragrance. Petals shed well after blooming, keeping the bush neat and tidy. The flowering is abundant and repeatable, allowing enjoyment of the rose's beauty throughout the season. Flowers are resistant to rain and retain their shape for a long time, making them excellent for cutting. The Traumerei rose features a compact bush size — about 60 x 40 cm — making it suitable for garden compositions, living hedges, or borders. The plant blooms repeatedly quickly and features good branching, ensuring abundant and prolonged flowering. This variety has received numerous awards, including the title 'Best Floribunda' from the American Rose Society (AARS) in 2001. Roses from the Kordes nursery, to which this variety belongs, are renowned for their high decorative value, resistance to adverse conditions, and low maintenance, making Traumerei an excellent choice for gardeners who value beauty and reliability.
