Rose Flamingo

The tea-hybrid rose 'Flamingo' features elegant, large flowers of a delicate pink hue, reminiscent of the European flamingo. The buds have a goblet shape, reach 10-11 cm in diameter, and consist of approximately 25 double petals. As they bloom, the petal edges may fade, acquiring a silver-pink pearlescent tone, which adds additional elegance to the flowers. The flowers are arranged singly or in clusters of up to 7 on long, sturdy stems, making this variety attractive for cut flowers and decorative gardening. The leaves are dark green, leathery, and glossy, with good resistance to powdery mildew, and the thorns are large and frequent. The bushes are upright, well-branched, reaching a height of 100-125 cm and a width of about 100 cm.

The 'Flamingo' rose exhibits high disease resistance and abundant flowering, with flowers maintaining their shape and attractive appearance for a long time. The variety prefers moist, fertile soils with good drainage, especially if groundwater is close to the surface. Adequate sunlight is essential for successful growth, although roses can also thrive in partial shade. The variety has moderate winter hardiness, so in regions with harsh winters, it is recommended to carefully insulate the bushes to preserve their health.

The 'Flamingo' rose can be planted in spring or autumn, but spring planting promotes better rooting and eases winter survival. Due to its elegance, resilience, and decorative qualities, this variety will be a beautiful addition to any garden, creating an elegant and delicate atmosphere.
