Rose Ilona

Ilona is a beautiful tea-hybrid rose with round-pointed buds that develop into an unusual red-orange hue with an atlas-orange sheen when blooming. The flowers are large, double, about 8-10 cm in diameter, with a mild pleasant fragrance. They form singly on each stem and have a neat cup-shaped form. Blooming is prolonged, beginning in June and continuing until October, occurring in waves, allowing enjoyment of the blooms throughout the season. Petals gradually droop and fall as the flowers fade, while the fruits have a red-brown tint and fleshy texture. Ilona rose bushes are medium-sized, reaching 70-90 cm in height, well-branched and densely foliated with dark green, leathery leaves. The plant exhibits high winter hardiness and disease resistance, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climates. Due to its durability and decorative qualities, this variety is suitable for both open ground and cut flower arrangements and decorative compositions. Ilona rose is ideal for creating striking accents in gardens, rose gardens, and flowerbeds, as well as for floral arrangements and interior decoration. Cut flowers last up to 8-14 days, making them popular in floristry. The variety adapts well to cultivation in southern regions, where blooms may be larger. Thanks to its attractive appearance, resilience, and prolonged blooming, Ilona rose is an excellent choice for both amateur and professional gardeners.
