Rosa Folklore is a tea-hybrid variety developed by the German breeder Kordes in 1977. The bushes of this variety have a vase-shaped form, sometimes spreading, and reach a height of 120 to 180 cm with a width of 100-150 cm. The leaves are large, dark green, and the young growth has a bright raspberry hue. The flowering of Folklore is continuous: after each flower fades, a new one immediately appears, ensuring prolonged and abundant decorative effect. The flowers of the rose are large, with a diameter of about 13 cm, individual buds may reach 18 cm. They have a rounded, elongated shape and open into full, high-centered blooms. The petal coloration is unique: initially dark orange-pink, gradually fading to salmon-pink with a cream-yellow underside. This color transition gives the flowers particular elegance and attractiveness. In addition, Rosa Folklore possesses one of the most intense and vibrant scents among tea-hybrid varieties, which is an important advantage for lovers of fragrant flowers. This variety is distinguished by high frost resistance and disease resistance, making it an excellent choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions. Rosa Folklore is widely used in landscape design and home gardening, as well as for cut flowers, thanks to its decorative qualities and flower longevity without wilting.
