Rose Gloria Dei

Rosa Gloria Dei (Rosa Gloria Dei), created by the breeder Meilland in 1945, is one of the most popular and beautiful varieties in the world. The name of the variety was given in honor of the breeder's mother. The flowers of this rose are large and double, reaching up to 15 cm in diameter and consisting of 40-45 petals. The color of the flowers changes depending on the season and growing conditions: from pale yellow with a magenta edge to a creamy-pink hue. The flowers have an elegant shape with a sharp center and a pleasant fruity aroma, which also varies depending on environmental factors.

The bushes of Rosa Gloria Dei are vigorous, reaching up to 140 cm in height and about 80 cm in width. The leaves are large, dark green, leathery, and glossy, giving the plant decorative appeal throughout the year. The flower stems are strong, ensuring the flowers remain sturdy even under adverse weather conditions. The rose is highly resistant to diseases such as powdery mildew and black spot, and it is also not afraid of rain, making it a trouble-free and easy-to-care-for variety.

This variety has enhanced frost resistance, allowing it to be grown in various climatic zones, including USDA Zone 6. Rosa Gloria Dei is suitable for both solitary plantings and decorative compositions in the garden. Thanks to its abundant and repeat flowering until frost, it delights with its refined appearance and fragrance for a long time, becoming an ornament for any plot.
