Rose TEFFY

Aesthetics meet resilience

The 'Teffi' rose variety from the 'Novaya Gollandiya' (New Holland) breeding program represents a pragmatic approach to floriculture. Unlike many sensitive cut-flower varieties that require constant microclimate monitoring, this cultivar demonstrates remarkable resilience against common field threats. The core value of 'Teffi' lies in its inherent immunity: 'Novaya Gollandiya's' selection process has resulted in a high resistance threshold against powdery mildew and spider mites. For professional growers, this translates into reduced expenditures on fungicides and acaricides, directly improving the cost-effectiveness of production.

Why 'Teffi' is a top choice for commercial cut-flower production

• Commercial durability: The dense petals retain their shape exceptionally well during transport, which is essential for wholesale logistics.
• Phytosanitary profile: High resistance to mite infestations minimizes the risk of harvest losses in greenhouse environments.
• Growing economics: The reduced need for intensive chemical treatments allows for the seamless integration of this variety into eco-conscious production programs.

'Teffi' is ideally suited for greenhouse operations targeting the mass market, where product aesthetics and developmental predictability are paramount. While a minor drawback includes the need for precise irrigation management—as excessive humidity can affect foliage structure—proper cultivation practices mitigate this entirely. When managed correctly, this rose acts as a reliable workhorse, blending visual appeal with a level of resilience that many purely decorative hybrids lack.
