Rose Aquarel Rose Park

A Practical Look at Aquarelle Rose Park: Native Breeding Excellence

Developed at the M.M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden of the NAS of Ukraine, this park rose variety is designed for low-maintenance landscaping without sacrificing aesthetic quality. With a mature height of 80–120 cm, the shrub maintains a sturdy, upright habit, meaning you won't need to constantly install support structures. This is a robust choice for those who value functional design in their garden.

Maintenance and Performance

The variety is highly reliable and predictable in its growth cycle. Standard pruning for park roses is all that is required to encourage continuous blooming throughout the summer season. The plant demonstrates excellent resilience to local climatic conditions, minimizing the need for specialized intervention.

• Bloom Characteristics: Features classic, double-flowered blooms measuring 7–10 cm. The dual-tone transition from yellow to pink creates the signature "watercolor" effect for which the variety is named.
• Fragrance and Utility: Offers a delicate, fruity scent. Its strong stems make it an excellent candidate for cutting, allowing for long-lasting, high-quality bouquets that retain their structure.
• Resilience: The bush is self-supporting, holding its geometry well through rain and wind, which keeps your maintenance schedule light.

For the best results, site this variety in full sun. Proper exposure maximizes the pigmentation, making the yellow and pink hues more vivid. Aquarelle Rose Park stands as a prime example of domestic breeding that prioritizes both structural integrity and visual appeal for the modern garden owner.
