The 'Carousel' rose belongs to the tea-hybrid group, renowned for its high-quality blooms and continuous flowering. The flowers have a narrow cup shape and are distinguished by their full-petalled structure with up to 50 petals. The flower diameter ranges from 7 to 10 cm, and the color varies from cream-pink with magenta-pink or purple edges to delicate pink with darker tones at the edges. The rose has a weak fragrance, making it especially attractive for use in bouquets and garden design. The plant reaches a height of 80 to 100 cm, featuring elegant stems with glossy green leaves and minimal thorns. 'Carousel' rose is characterized by high resistance to diseases and pests, as well as good winter hardiness, allowing successful cultivation in various climatic conditions. Flowering continues from June to October with breaks, providing a prolonged decorative effect. For successful cultivation, the rose should be planted in a sunny location with partial shade, in light, well-drained soil rich in nutrients and free of standing water in winter. Watering should be regular and abundant, especially during hot and dry weather, to ensure deep penetration into the soil. After flowering, spent blooms should be removed, and pruning should be performed in spring. Mineral fertilizers with a predominance of potassium and phosphorus are also beneficial. Before winter, fallen leaves should be removed and the plant should be treated with fungicides to protect against diseases.
