The BLAGOVEST rose variety is a beautiful hybrid-tea bush with vertical, pyramidal growth reaching up to 120 cm in height. The flowers are large, up to 14 cm in diameter, cup-shaped with a high center and pointed lower petals. The flower color ranges from pink-apricot to apricot with a shimmering shade that looks especially striking in the sun. The petals are double-flowered, numbering up to 25, while the buds have a pale-pink hue. Flowers appear both singly and in clusters of up to 5-7, giving the bush decorative density. The rose has a medium fragrance with fruity and spicy notes that can be detected from afar.
The bushes are vigorous and upright, with sturdy stems up to 100 cm long. Leaves are of medium size, elliptical in shape, dark green, leathery, and glossy, highlighting the plant's ornamental value. Thorns on the canes are rare, needle-shaped, and reddish. The rose is characterized by very abundant and long-lasting blooming, starting in late May and continuing until the end of December, making it an excellent choice for cut flowers and group plantings in decorative compositions.
The BLAGOVEST variety boasts high resistance to powdery mildew and rust, as well as strong heat tolerance and moderate drought resistance. The rose is repeat-flowering and withstands rainy weather well. Due to these qualities and its striking appearance, the variety is recommended for growing in various regions, including the North Caucasus, and is suitable for decorative garden and park landscaping.
