Description Atena
Athena Rose is a tea-hybrid variety created by the breeding company W. Kordes' Söhne in 2014, belonging to the 'Elegance' series. This variety features elegant, large, double blooms with a diameter of 10-12 cm, colored creamy-white with a delicate pink or raspberry edge on the petals. Buds open slowly, appearing singly or in small clusters, making this rose especially attractive for cut flowers and bouquet use. The fragrance of the blooms is light and subtle, adding elegance to this variety.

Athena rose bushes grow to a height of 90–125 cm and a width of about 0.6–1 m, with upright and moderately vigorous stems and large dark green leaves. The rose adapts well to various climatic conditions, including temperate climates, and is frost-resistant. However, the variety is sensitive to temperature fluctuations, with an optimal temperature for blooming and growth around 25 degrees Celsius. The rose prefers sunny locations for planting and requires regular, abundant watering.

The Athena variety has moderate resistance to diseases, including fungal infections, allowing it to be grown in flowerbeds and borders, as well as for cut flower use with prolonged vase life. Blooming continues from May to October, providing a long-lasting decorative effect. For planting, choose well-fertilized soil, and plant seedlings preferably in spring or autumn.
