Strawberry FL 12 121 5

Premium American Genetics for Consistent Production

The «FL 12 121 5» strawberry variety, developed by Florida Foundation Seed Producers, represents a significant advancement in commercial berry production. Designed to meet the demands of modern agriculture, this remontant variety excels at providing consistent yields across extended harvest windows, rather than relying on a single short production spike.

Why «FL 12 121 5» Stands Out

• Exceptional Fruit Quality: The berries reach an impressive size of 30–40 grams, maintaining a vibrant, eye-catching bright red hue that remains stable throughout transport.
• Natural Disease Resilience: One of the variety's primary strengths is its robust resistance to powdery mildew and gray mold. This biological hardiness significantly reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications, making it an excellent candidate for sustainable farming practices.
• Versatility in Market Application: Because of its dense structure and balanced flavor profile, this variety is highly sought after for both fresh-market sales and processing needs (including freezing and preserves).

Cultivation and Performance

Developed for open-field conditions, this variety shows moderate cold hardiness (down to -18°C). It is ideally suited for growers seeking a reliable performer that offers a long harvest season (60+ days) and high fruit uniformity. While the variety is highly productive, it responds best to structured fertigation programs, which are essential to support its remontant (everbearing) nature throughout the season. For producers aiming to minimize risks associated with fungal pathogens without compromising on berry size or quality, «FL 12 121 5» serves as a dependable, profit-oriented choice.
