Civri 30

The Civri 30 strawberry variety, also known as Capri, is a new industrial everbearing variety developed in Italy through complex breeding work by a consortium of Italian nurseries. It was obtained by controlled crossing of the CIVRI-30 variety and the hybrid form R6R1-26. The plants are medium-sized with dark green, large leaves and upright flower stems, ensuring prolonged flowering and fruiting.

The fruits of the Capri variety have a regular conical shape, bright shiny red color, and an average weight of about 35 grams. The berries are distinguished by their excellent flavor — sweet with a slight acidity and aromatic. The skin is strong, providing high transportability. Yield reaches 1.5 to 2 kg per plant under proper agronomic conditions. Ripening begins at the end of June and continues until early November, allowing for several harvest waves during the season.

The variety is characterized by high cold resistance, resistance to common diseases and pests, as well as drought tolerance. It is recommended for cultivation on sunny sites with fertile, well-drained soils and regular watering. Capri is suitable for both open ground and greenhouses, making it a versatile choice for both industrial and private gardening.
