The Exhibition strawberry variety is a high-yielding mid-season variety of domestic breeding, developed in the early 1960s at the Crimean Experimental and Selection Station of VNIIR by crossing the Louis and Noble Laxton varieties. This variety is characterized by medium-sized, sprawling bushes with strong and thick flower stalks that reach the level of leaves or slightly lower. The flowers are white, bisexual, and gathered in compact inflorescences, which ensure sufficient fruit formation for propagation and do not require cross-pollination.

The Exhibition strawberry berries have a wide-conical symmetrical shape, dark red color with a glossy skin and light yellow depressed achenes. The pulp is of medium density, juicy, with a sweet-and-sour taste and a weak aroma. The berry mass averages 12-15 grams, while individual fruits can reach up to 30 grams. The variety's yield reaches up to 1 kg per bush, which makes it attractive for cultivation in southern regions, as well as in the central strip of Russia, the Urals, and Siberia.

The Exhibition variety is characterized by frost and drought resistance, as well as good berry transportability. Due to its universal purpose, the strawberry is suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for making jams, preserves, and compotes. With proper care, this variety demonstrates high fruit quality and disease resistance, making it a popular choice among gardeners and farmers.
