KRASAVITSA ZAGORYA

Strawberry variety Krasnitsa Zagoriya is a mid-early garden strawberry variety, distinguished by large, burgundy or dark red berries of oval-egg shape with a strong gloss and ribbed surface. The berries weigh up to 30–35 grams, are juicy and aromatic, possessing a sweet-sour taste with sugar content around 6.66% and acidity of 1.13%. Thanks to their attractive appearance and taste qualities, the berries are excellent for fresh consumption, as well as for processing into juices, jams, and jellies.

The bushes of this variety are medium-sized, semi-spreading, which ensures ease of care and harvest collection. The variety is characterized by medium resistance to diseases and pests, as well as medium winter hardiness, but does not withstand prolonged frost. A notable feature is that the berries do not attract slugs, which facilitates cultivation and reduces crop losses.

Krasavitsa Zagoriya was bred at the Moscow Fruit and Berry Experimental Station and recommended for wide-scale production cultivation in various regions of Russia.
