NF 205

Strawberry variety NF 205, known under the trade name Roxana®, is a mid-late variety with large, bright red berries of a regular conical shape. The average fruit weight reaches about 30 grams, making them attractive and convenient to harvest. Plants of this variety are characterized by strong growth and high hardiness, they tolerate low winter temperatures well and are able to grow successfully even on poor soils.

Variety NF 205 is resistant to major root system diseases and tolerant to powdery mildew and angular leaf spot, although it may be somewhat susceptible to anthracnose. High yield and large berry size ensure good transportability and allow significantly reducing harvesting costs. For optimal strawberry growth, it is recommended to choose sunny areas with light or medium mechanical composition soils and pH 5.0-6.5.

Soil preparation for planting includes the application of organic fertilizers at a rate of 5-6 kg per square meter and mineral fertilizers up to 40 g per square meter, followed by deep plowing. Planting should be carried out after the prepared soil has settled. Use of highly healthy mother plant material and certified seedlings contributes to successful cultivation and obtaining high-quality harvest.
