Bogema

The Bohema strawberry variety is a late-season, partially everbearing variety with high yield indicators and excellent taste qualities. The berries of this variety are large, widely conical in shape, dark red in color with a shiny dense skin. The fruit mass varies from 45 to 50 grams, the flesh is dense, juicy and aromatic, making them especially attractive for dessert consumption. The sugar content of the berries reaches about 9.9%, and the acid content does not exceed 0.9%, which ensures a pleasant sweet taste with a slight tartness. Vitamin C in the berries is contained in an amount of about 99.8 mg%, which additionally increases their nutritional value.

Bohema strawberry bushes are powerful, upright, about 30 cm high, with large green leaves and thick green runners. The plant is characterized by good winter hardiness and drought resistance, which allows it to be successfully grown in various climatic conditions, including southern regions of Russia and the southern Urals. The variety is resistant to most common diseases and pests, which reduces the need for intensive protection and care.

Bohema is suitable for universal use due to its high yield and fruit quality. The variety was bred by Moscow breeders in the early 2000s and has since proven itself as a reliable and productive option for gardeners. Its late ripening period allows extending the berry picking season, while partial everbearing provides an additional harvest during the season. The tasting evaluation of the taste reaches 4.5 points, which confirms the high organoleptic properties of this variety.
