Peresvet

The Raspberries of the Peresvet variety are one of the most popular and in-demand varieties among gardeners thanks to their unique qualities and high yield. This medium-late variety was bred as a result of crossing the Solj and Stolichnaya varieties and belongs to the famous "golden series" of domestic raspberry varieties created by Academician Ivan Kazakov. Peresvet is undemanding in cultivation, which allows it to successfully adapt to various climatic conditions with timely care and adherence to agronomy.

Peresvet raspberry bushes are medium-sized, compact and upright, which facilitates care and harvest collection. The variety is characterized by high yield - up to 5 kg per bush and about 4.4 tons per hectare. In addition, Peresvet is distinguished by good fruit transportability, which is important for commercial cultivation.

Special attention deserves high winter hardiness and resistance of the variety to fungal diseases and pests, which significantly reduces the risk of crop losses. However, it should be borne in mind that Peresvet has some shortcomings, such as noticeable thorniness of shoots, weak drought resistance and not too intense berry aroma. Despite this, the variety continues to remain one of the best choices for gardeners seeking to obtain a stable and quality raspberry crop.
